The State Department official said via email that the Biden administration "asked the Department of State to explore interest from private companies to produce armored electric vehicles." In response, the department released a public request for information on armored electric vehicles "to solicit interest" and "received interest from only one company at that time": Tesla, which responded on May 31, 2024. The official said the next step in this process would be "an official solicitation," where vehicle manufacturers would bid for a contract. However, Trump's administration put the solicitation on hold and "there are no current plans to issue it." Fucking retard

chico, wrong again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://news.yahoo.com/news/document...011137668.html New document casts doubt on Trump admin denials about $400m ‘armored Tesla’ contract: report Newly obtained records reportedly appear to indicate that President Donald Trump’s State Department was in fact aiming to arrange a $400 million government contract with one of Elon Musk's companies, even as it downplayed the lucrative deal when it was exposed by the media. The State Department said after the reports earlier this month that it was abandoning plans to buy $400 million worth of "armored electric vehicles” that had earlier listed Tesla as the intended provider in its own document. The record had been quickly scrubbed to eliminate mention of Tesla following news reports of the pricey contract going to a company even as the CEO of that same company, Elon Musk, was working for the government firing people and cutting other contracts as head of the Department of Government Accountability in what appeared to be a tremendous conflict of interest.

Re: Dictator Trump Takeover
chico's buddy .......................
Musk’s Starlink gets FAA contract, raising new conflict of interest concerns https://news.yahoo.com/news/finance/...133016424.html The Federal Aviation Administration has agreed to use SpaceX’s Starlink internet system to upgrade the information technology networks it uses to manage US airspace, raising new concerns about conflicts of interest for CEO Elon Musk in one of his other roles, that of recommending funding cuts at federal agencies, including the FAA. The size of this contract was not immediately reported. SpaceX is a privately held space technology company greatly dependent on federal contracts, primarily from NASA. Its Starlink satellite internet provides service for government and private customers around the world.

Re: Dictator Trump Takeover
Even the mentally challenged like chico can see this is bad, real bad!
https://news.yahoo.com/news/hegseth-...230924720.html The Hill Hegseth: Fired military lawyers were potential ‘roadblocks’ to Trump orders Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Monday that the three fired judge advocates general (JAGs) were potential “roadblocks” to President Trump’s orders. “It’s not about roadblocks to an agenda,” Hegseth told reporters when asked how the military lawyers present roadblocks. “It’s roadblocks to orders that are given by a commander in chief,” he said
