https://news.yahoo.com/news/mike-joh...214638574.html Mike Johnson Vows to Hold Aid to California Hostage After Deadly Fires Republican leadership continues to use one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history as political leverage. On Monday, House Speaker Mike Johnson told CNN’s Manu Raju that there should be “conditions” on the proposed federal aid to California in the wake of the deadly wildfires in Los Angeles County.

Seems like the Dems just can't learn from their mistakes.

Oh, it's most definitely the politics given the change in voting patterns of traditional Democratic groups. Native Americans , traditionally one of the strongest Dem voting blocks completely flipped and Dems lost a lot more than usual among black and Hispanic voters. This was mostly based on economic choices but that doesn't explain why NAs went much further. What do you think the Dems did to piss off NAs over above all other groups? (I'm convinced it was the culture war actions over the last 5 years that did that - NAs were basically told by non-NA cultural Warriors to sit down and shut-up, that they knew what was good for them and then those warriors proceeded to destroy much of what NAs liked, ostensibly on behalf of NAs). |

Due to cold, Trump’s inauguration is being moved inside.
So, it won’t be crowd size but tv ratings; which should be lower than 2017. |
