Like I said, Forbes is an easy target, but he is by no means the problem. He needs to be coached up, he needs to be communicated to, and he needs to play. |

Re: Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
Agree re: Forbes. I think he's being scapegoated by many Washington fans. I like him and still believe he'll be fine. The defense has numerous issues, of course, Forbes being one, but there are others amongst the d-line, LBs, and secondary who deserves some blame. I think we'll all agree that our biggest detriment are JDR and Rivera, defensively.

Fire Ron Rivera Now - Post Game Thread
Quote:
Forbes isn’t the problem. Ron is the problem for selecting him in the first round. I liked the pick, I won’t pretend I didn’t. What I don’t like is that I trusted that this regime took the right guy. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice get the fuck out. Lol. Id be able to deal with the fact that he is going to take time, if there was any other pick even contributing slightly. We were/are not in a position to draft projects and versatile players/ depth. We needed more than one plug and play. They are all over the league right now.
