I think the risk depends on the type company. I think it's a much higher risk for a beer or spirits company, than it would be for say Kuerig.
The NFL could kick every dog in the country and still make money. Amazon is probably in the same boat now as well. I don't buy Nike, but it has nothing to do with any of this stuff.
