So get rid of leagues and divisions and playoffs. The top 2 teams go directly to the World Series. That ensures you get the "premier" match-up every year.

Idc what happens once they are in - they either do not deserve to be there or deserve the tougher road (like the braves and giants). You guys keep saying that it takes away from something. The way I see it it takes away from several regular seasons games already. The Giants could have lost like 12 straight to end the year and it would not have mattered anyway. What is the difference? My way puts emphasis on every game. The way it is now puts emphasis on a few games for a couple teams down the stretch. |
