Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
Here is a question to answer.
We have the second pick and Burrows goes #1. With the second pick would you pick Chase, Tau or Haskins (hypothetically here that he came out in this draft)?

Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
If Tua still has that injury concern, Chase Young. If he was completely healthy then Tua

Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
Id take Tua first (since I dont have a QB), Chase second and I woudlnt take Haskins with the 2nd overall pick. Certainly not in this draft where it seems there are 5-6 really blue chip prospects.
Im not a Haskins hater, I like him but I just dont see an elite franchise QB. Foot work, arm slot, mechanics, feel need work. maybe 10-15 best in the league in a few years and you can work with that. Still way to early to judge Haskins and we will find out a lot this year.

Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
Right now if you asked me who was the better prospect Haskins or Hurts? I'd probably say Hurts, similar accuracy traits and arm strength but Hurts can move much better, he's going to be a steal this yr

Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
Wow, I totally misread that somehow.
Tua, then Dwayne, then Chase if they are all in the same draft just because you need the QB

If you were Cincy would you want to pass on the next potential Aaron Rodgers?

Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
I'm surprised no one is talking about Carolina trading up to try and get Burrow to pair him back with his LSU passing coordinator. Maybe they don't have the resources to do so...but if I were a fan, that is what I'd be hoping for vs. hoping Cam is "healthy"

Still you got admit every year its two great QBs coming out hype and then fizzle. Lamar and Patrick are probably the two best in the last five years to come out neither was part of this pre-draft circle jerk hype machine before each of their respective drafts. Maybe I am old now but the NFL on so many levels is just wash rinse repeat year and year out. I actually enjoy amateur sports now more.

This is the schedule he dominated: @Texas Florida Auburn @Alabama - rewatch that game. my god the poise. Georgia neutral field Oklahoma neutral field Clemson Who didn't he play in college football this year? What is true about Tua this past season...everytime he played...everytime...the announcers always talked about how much he hobbled around the field...always talking about how injured Tua was. The writing is on the wall...completely negligent to take him at 2

Re: Should we be drafting Tua???
If you look at the list of college QBs that put up huge numbers there are plenty of guys that never made it in the NFL or low end starters/backups like Case Keenum.
