I'd say he's already the best over-40 qb statistically, but even so that doesn't mean father time hasn't started catching up to him. I think he just wants to prove how capable he is without the coaching savvy of Belichick. The other advantage Belichick has is he turned a guy in Matt Cassel (who was never worth a damn anywhere else) into an 11-5 winner the year Brady was out. So you can already give Belichick his due for surviving without Brady.
