Re: Postgame Falcons
A coach evaluating a player is going to consider how a player's performance impacted the game. Doctson's drops helped the Redskins to a 0-14 hole they are not equipped to dig their way out of. With his small sample he only caught the ball 3 out of his 6 targets and ended up with 30 measly yards, how that is a C+ is beyond crazy. So by Cooley's assessment Doctson played like an above average wide receiver Sunday. That makes no sense.

Re: Postgame Falcons
All I know is he’s playing better the last couple of weeks.

Re: Postgame Falcons
I agree he played better: he's blocking really well in the run game, and has made a couple of nice catches...
BUT he still gets zero separation and he had 2 killing drops that were 100% on him, first one he slide while he didn't need to and let the ball bounce off his chest, second one he jumped while he didn't have to and wasn't able to secure the ball... just not acceptable.

Re: Postgame Falcons
Yeah usually after im deathly ill for a week or so I feel better afterwards. Id rather argue about Trump being a bully or a victim in that other thread. It is much more undefined than whether or not Doc is a good wide receiver. Lol. Just for the record I obviously hope he pans out, but after three years of zilch a fade pass isn’t going to have me praising the guy. Consistency consistency consistency. |

You expect your average WR to do his job/have a positive impact on more than 70% of the plays, don't you? And again, I really don't think grades are the best part of his Film Breakdowns, the explanations are. Because he did say Doctson is not getting any separation and he went into details on why his drops were ugly and 100% on him. So yeah, maybe a C is being too nice, but if you listen to the film breakdown, he's not trying to make you believe Doctson had a solid game.

There are a lot of large farms with big fancy houses including places that breed expensive race horses in this county, yet the infrastructure is a joke. I have an aunt that lives in a nice house on the beach in Tijuana Mexico, I am sure you are aware of that city, she has better internet and utilities than I have. |
