That would make me vomit if we hired from within on this one. We need someone PROVEN right now. We really don't have a window to let someone learn on the job after fielding shitty defenses in this past. This would be Barry all over again (except he has a bit more experience).

In his best season he was mediocre at BEST. If you look at some of those teams, there is a shit ton of defensive talent it looks like he got nothing out of.

- No a-holes (Rex Ryan)
- Don't over-think it. Just hire the best there is - Wade Phillips.

Just read an article that says that's basically the threat. If you can't hire the right staff how can you be trusted to lead a team?

It's about damn time! It's a positive that Gruden wants to blow up the entire defensive coaching staff.....Perry Fewell was probably fired because the secondary as a whole greatly underperformed...... I'm looking forward to the Redskins hiring the new DC and I'm anxious to know what coaches he will add to his staff.....
