I was trying to explain earlier today in another thread that just because the 'Skins fell into 1st place for a week it shouldn't change the reality that we were a mediocre 5-6 team, it just happens that the rest of the division is too. The fact is the team plays like a .500/sub-.500 team. They don't have the talent of Dallas.

It's a rebuilding year and even though winning the division would be nice, we can't lose sight of the big picture, and 5-7 is about on track as far as what a lot of people were hoping for before the season started.

I was hoping for 8-8. Gonna be tough now. But 5-7 sounds better for us in terms of progress if you didn't watch all the games. Feels like we give some away. But again that's cause we're a 5-7 team. You are what your record is. Hope Scott nails this next draft.
