Re: Darrell Green does not support Redskin name change

Per a team statement there is no connection between the Redskins and the Braveheart trademark. Snyder reportedly doesn't even know the guy mentioned in the TMZ report.

Re: Darrell Green does not support Redskin name change

I actually think that was one of the biggest steps to help us there has been. if the Vikings had agreed to do what was in their power to block the usage of the name and logo then there would have been a push to do the same at every away game we have.

BTW: There was a hot chick on Different Strokes?

Re: Darrell Green does not support Redskin name change

A question: Can the NFL force a name change? Or does it have to come from the Redskin's management?

I know the NFL can exert a lot of pressure on the team, but ultimately it is up to the team owner, right?

I.. actually like pork skins.

The Washington Pork Skins. An ode to the Hogs. I guess we'd get sued by vegetarians then though.
