Re: New Orleans Saints/Washington Redskins: Bounty Hunters
Quote:
The media and the NFL FO is making a big deal out this because of all the concussion law suits. The main reason I say this is New Orleans during the time of this so called pay to play is/was not known as a dirty team. Shanahan's Denver teams ended the season for several defensive players with chop blocks that were seen as dirty. The Raiders teams of the 70's and 80's were tough and dirty. New Orleans? Not so much. I think Goddell is trying to make a big deal about the money and saying it bypassed the salary cap. BS! This just makes for good PR for Goddell and the NFL right as the concussion law suits against the NFL will be starting. For all the hypocrites that think this is so wrong, remember the times in frustration when you screamed at the TV for our Redskins to kill and knock the head off of Romo, Eli, Vick, Staubach, Simms, etc....
