Re: Eight QBs and Where The Latest Rumors Have Them Going
Quote:
But, I wonder how much of that advantage was aided by scheme? To my eye both Griff/Luck and played in offenses that threw deep more often then A&M so I wonder how much the increased frequency of deep attempts (not to mentions WRs or TE that got w i d e open) created the disparity in deep ball accuracy? I wish we had access to the numbers for deep passing for college QBs like we do with NFL. *Shrugs* On some of the sideline passes like the deep comebacks I was puzzled by how often Sherman called them. It seemed predictable after awhile and I thought the defenses began picking up on that and Tannehill made some poor decisions trying to muscle the ball in there on arm strength. Quote:
I think Parcell's said 'better 1 round early then 1 pick too late'. My ideal would solutions for the QB position would be: Peyton Manning + journeyman QB with starters potential+later round developmental rookie QB here's my thoughts/scenarios for the draft: o Trade with the Vikings @ 3 for Griffin o Hope Griffin falls to 6 o Draft Tannehill @ 6 o Trade down/then up for Tannehill o Take Foles/Weeden in the 2nd round o Take Osweiler in the 4th knowing most likely he'll need to sit the year, which would require a FA starting QB ^^^^-------------(least favorite option Kirk Cousins) o Take Wilson with the second 4th rounder or trade up in the 5th (love Wilson) o complete flyer on Darron Thomas 5th-6th round |
