A bright spot in the second half of the season is the last regular season game. With the AFC West being so weak, you can expect that San Diego will have locked up that division by week 17 and will rest their starters in that last game.
And with all the teams in the NFC East tracking for a Wild Card, that could be the decision maker for the Redskins. Make those games against the the weaker teams in the AFC West count (Oak, Den, KC), split division games and if SD does rest their starters in that last game, you could be playing for a wild card spot in week 17.

You are correct about the latter half of the schedule being tough. But we won back-to-back games in Philly and in Dallas last year.
