Re: Should we be drafting Tua???

Its not faulting by injury, its the frequency and type. Regardless of potential and displayed ability some injuries can and do shorten careers. Regardless of said ability teams and coaches have to take jjnto account the potential availability of a drafted based on historic injuries. Guice dropped down for good reason as proven last 2 years, and maybe the worst is over, but you would never have taken him with a top 25 pick based on his history. So why is Tua special? Because he's a QB? Sorry, its too high a risk for most organisations that have a competent QB already on the roster. Haskins isn't proven either way but he's competent and fit right now. With other needs why risk the whole applecart on Tua?

We do need a backup, hopefully a competent vet, but right now we need a defence that can take the pressure off the O as it develops. CY or trading down and getting Simmons and maybe Okudah makes far more sense than risking it all on Tua.
