There is no chance of a contract extension plan in place. They are renting Dix for 9 or 10 games for a 4th round pick. However, they could get a late 4th round compensatory pick back in the 2020 draft.

I doubt they re-sign him. If he has a great year he will be too expensive, if not then I am not interested in signing him.
