never said that. but a qb does make the offense, especially in how the game is evolving into a pass first run second league. I never said a running game wasnt important, nor wrs or lineman.

I totally agree with you. QB is a glaring issue. And Beck sucks. Just saying some o-line depth would help too. Everytime TW goes down, that left side gets exposed.

I agree bro .Our QB is toast. If Brady or Bress was our QB we would have a much better offense.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread

People must realize that a very good to elite QB makes an awful offensive line look good. We need a QB, but also MS should've started to rebuild this offense from day one. He could've kept the old defense and Jason Campbell, and use every available resource to rebuild the offense period. Maybe we could have drafted our QB of the future already. I would've been fine with a mediocre season of Jason Campbell last year instead of the wasted picks on McNabb.

Right now we are not building up to anything. Maybe we have a whole bunch of young guys getting experience (Helu, Hank, Paul, Austin, etc) but we are going to have a struggling year again next season with a rookie QB.

So essentially you agree. I'm saying the QB isn't the entire offensive team. You can win games and not have a badass gunslinging QB. But you have to have the other pieces in place as well. And I'm saying we're missing the whole thing. The o-line is there, just not in terms of depth. 1 starter goes out and the whole thing starts crumbling.

And by the way... we have two receivers (Gaffney and Armstrong that had 800+ yards receiving last year) in addition to a couple of rooks who look to be getting open today.

FAIL. Colts WR's were not that great. Peyton Manning made them great. When u can turn Austin frikkin collie and pierre garcon into viable receiving threats, that speaks LOADS to the importance of the qb.

Why are you even arguing that issue? You know that comment was stupid.
