I don't see Philly as a major contender for Nnamdi. I see Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Washington, or a return to Oakland. He'd have to take less money to go back to Oakland because of their cap situation. Given the alternatives, that might be the best place to be. --EDIT-- Oh, and Tampa Bay. Aqib Talib is going to be difficult to replace otherwise. He's going to sign the biggest contract ever for a player 30 years or older, no matter where he signs.

IMO signing Asomugha (a 30+ year old vet who'll command massive $$) would be a repetition of what has plagued this team for years. I have no doubt that Nnamdi can be a top shelf corner for another 3 years or so, but for the Redskins he's not worth the $40+ million in guarantees he'll likely get.
I like Nnamdi a lot as a person and as a player, but I don't think he's a fit here.

Well, the extension they gave McNabb mid-season last year was kind of bizarre. Even though we didn't cough up a lot of guaranteed money and the years/dollars were misleading, it was definitely a head-scratcher considering Shanny and Co never really seemed sold on DM as a QB once the season really got rolling.

Now, it is hard to resist the thought of having a secondary with Nnamdi, DHall, OJ, and Landry. I think it'd be a pretty sick secondary having a complete shutdown corner (Nnamdi), ballhawking CB and FS (DHall/OJ), and a hard tackling SS (Landry).

Who's going to ask for more money, him or Rogers?

Also, given D'Angelo's contract and the contract that Landry is going to be looking for after this year, we'd be ill-advised to tie up that much money in the secondary with Nnamdi.

Nnamdi won't need to ask for more money, he is going to get it and as it has been said there will be a bidding war for him.
I think Rogers is going to ask for too much money, but he won't get anywhere near what Nnamdi will get.

The market will quickly set the price for Rogers. He's dreaming if he thinks he's going to cash in big.

I think Carlos will get a good deal for sure. I will be shocked if he doesn't get at least 6 mil a year. Nate Burleson got a 5 year 25 mil contract, the salary cap is going up, the salary floor is going up, and rodgers is significantly better than burleson IMO. Yes I know he has the dropsies, but he is a solid cover corner and a good tackler. We are mad at him for only having two picks, but that is not all that off from the rest of the league, and we are mad at him because he is good enough to be in good position to make plays on the ball. He is an asset any team would like to have. |

You haven't heard? Dallas is in CAP hell. lol. Sound familiar? Roy Williams could be victim of salary cap | ProFootballTalk I hope they can't solve their issue's with simple number crunching. |

Sometimes teams don't pay what the player is worth, other times players ask for more then their worth. I personally see LOS in the latter catagory. I'd be suprised if he stays. Otherwise he's in for a rude awakening .... or both.
