IDK who grades these but Allen and Payne to me are are such JAGS. They are not difference makers. They can not cave in a pocket. They are not disruptive.

Is there a grade on Del Rio? How about a effing 0 for that guy.

Thye will bounce back this week against maybe the worst OL in football and a very avg QB in jones... But then the tough stretch begins.

Let's be honest, if Heinicke and Allen get injured I wouldn't mind them bringing Cam in. The season is lost at that point anyways.

Probably won't be long until Kyle Allen gets in there, and then probably some guy we'll sign off the street.
Heinicke will get hurt. It's just a matter of when. We will have at least 3 different starting QBs this year.

Why bring Cam in if the season is lost? What do you gain? If Heinicke can't be a starting level qb then write this season off, draft a qb next year and move forward. Nothing at all to gain from having Cam save a few games at the end.

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

Please stop the we could have signed Herbert over Chase crap. We had a 1st round QB on the team looking to make the expected jump year 2 with a brand new coaching staff that could maximize his potential. And oh yeah, Chase was everyone's dream pick and we were lucky we got him.
What team do you know that would have passed on Chase Young to draft 2 first round QBs in 2 straight years?

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

I was all in on Tua but after a full season and 1 game yesterday I'm glad we took CY still.. Although he was not good yesterday I still have faith he will be our mega star we need for the next 10 years.

BUT... If you were to ask me if I'd take Herbert or Watson over CY? Yes in a heartbeat

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

Also Cam is still a very good player, in fact he was really good in the PS, the reason he got cut is he won't get the shot (that was a legit rumor) so No he won't come to DC then, especially with RR's health . Cam is better than TH tho

Ah - you would rather tank the season with Pat Shurmur's kid than bring in someone with experience to play qb - I don't disagree with that line of thinking at all actually.

Last year we would have tanked if the division didn't start so poorly. In fact, going for two in the first Giants game was a bit of a tank move.

You mean the guy who has the maturity level of a 15 year old?

I personally wanted Tua. You take the QB always over a DE. Always...
