Skins v Iggles Winner Goes to SB Pre-Game

I'm so syked for this game. Weather looks to be manageable for mid-January Philly. Both teams won their home game in our matchups. Washington is absolutely discounted in betting odds and especially in SB futures odds.

We know Saquon will get his runs. Likely 180yds with 2 TDs. Hurts may be hurt and his passing the past few weeks has been close to abysmal. They still have a top 5 defense, and they have seen JD5 twice, how they adjust will be a huge key to the game.

As for Washington, it clearly starts with a healthy JD5. We have 4 rookies starting in the NFC Championship game: QB, LT, CB2(1?), DT. Our veteran leaders have been here before and they know it's no easy task to get back.

Jimmy The Greek used to give his checkmarks, here are mine:
Coaching - Washington
QB - Washington
RB - Philly
our OL v their DL - Philly
our DL v their OL - Tie
Off Skill Players - Tie
Def Backfield - Philly (close though)
Intangibles - Washington

This game will come down to the best prepared, and most effective, team.
I believe that will be Washington.

It's going to be the same playbook as last week. We have to get some turnovers and not turn it over. Can we at least contain SaQuan? Can our o-line hold up? Can Lattimore hold up? Send some blitzes at Hurts. He looks like a below average QB right now. We can do this!!!!

If our O Line can keep their D Line at bay we have a good chance.

Re: Skins v Iggles Winner Goes to SB Pre-Game

i hate this team more than i hate dallas anymore. i really hope we can pull this one off. i hate that is in philly and it pegs to be 30 degrees. i worry the most about our o-line and our DL vs theirs. Hurts is a one read RPO scramble qb and thats all he is. i will never get the hype around that dude. If i have to see that clown ass tush push shit i will not be shocked but just as appalled as i always am. Saquon HAS TO BE CONTAINED... that is a tough task but we have to lessen that blow. When you really try to make Hurts beat you.... and take away the quick slant that is 90% of that passing game - you have a chance.

They are a tough team, it will be a tough atmosphere and a challenge for our boys. This game is everything to me since i literally live in sheagles country. If we win i will be surprised simply due to our history and our luck..... but i will be more than fucking stoked when we do.

Are we really talking about being one win away from the Super Bowl?

Still trying to wrap my head around this

We need to execute in the red zone. 7 not 3. Also we need to win the turnover battle. If we do those two things we should win. I can’t even believe still that I am discussing our chances to win and go to the superbowl.

I am not as worried about Barkley as I am Jalen Carter. I expect Saquon to get yardage and 2 scores. But if the OL/JD5 can handle Carter, and we don't turnover the football, I expect our offense to score 31+. Hurts/Pickett can't manufacture the other 21 points they need to stay competitive.

As bad as it looked, I think Hurts is not a major injury because by now we would have heard some mri news if it was damaged.

Re: Skins v Iggles Winner Goes to SB Pre-Game

He's already struggled post concussion, and he looked bad after the injury Sunday. So it's not so much him being out as playing hurt. Remember how it affected JD? We need to force them to try to beat us through the air. They haven't been good passing since they played us as it is, if he isn't 100% they'll be worse. And if Lattimore can shut down Brown...
