Packers pregame thread
OK -- time to stop whining about the Colts game. Predictions for this Sunday?
I am hoping (really, praying) it will be a bounce back game, and the Skins win a close one 33-31 with Hopkins sealing it with a last minute field goal. The Packers D -- particularly the secondary -- isn't scary, and but for extraordinary heroics from Rodgers in week 1, they'd be 0-1-1. Their run game is weak. In week 1, the Bears passed for a paltry 155 yards -- and nearly won. The Bears did put up 139 rushing yards. In week 2, the Vikes didn't seem to press the rush (they only ran 18 times for 68 yards), but Cousins went off -- 412 net passing yards. We ought to be able to put up some points. Time for our secondary and pass rush to make some noise.

Re: Packers pregame thread
I think we head into the bye 2-1, yes it was ugly last week but lest see if the leadership on this team can bounce back.
26-24 Skins on a GW FG

Another L in front to 50,000 fans. We were exposed last week. Crowd the line, stuff AP and dare Mr Checkdown and our average wr's to win. Seriously is anyone scared of our wr's? We need to go w/ more 2 te sets. Putting 3 wr's on the field is not good for us.

Re: Packers pregame thread
Hard for me to argue this at the moment. We also have to prove to ourselves again that we can protect Smith.

I have no idea how this game will go. I hope we win but won't be shocked by a loss. Even a blowout loss

Re: Packers pregame thread
If there was ever a game we needed Preston and Kerrigan to bring it, this would be the one.
If we get 4+ team sacks we win, otherwise, its another home loss. I'll bet on our guys. 24-17 Good Guys.

Re: Packers pregame thread
If we knock out Rodgers on his first attempt and Kizer plays then maybe we have a chance, otherwise I don’t think the game will be close

Re: Packers pregame thread
If we can't score 20+ on this packers defense it's going to be a long yr

Re: Packers pregame thread
Erin Rodgers is the only real threat on the entire team. If you take him out of the equation The FudgePackers are average at best. And that's being generous. Their defense is subpar and The Redskins offense (when it shows up) can shred them like a pulled pork sandwich. For once Smith's check down ball; control style will be just what the doctor ordered. Control the ball with short passing and attack their rookie corners, which Alex as ten plus year veteran should have a field day with and a win will right this ship and give us some breathing room going forward.
