Sean Taylor's Trial Finally Starts

Trial starts in slaying of Redskins' Sean Taylor

First things first, jury selection going on now. I really hope they get this over with quickly, his family deserves closure. Hopefully they get the book thrown at them.

Assuming things did go down as reported, they all should be facing life imprisonment or death.

I hope they all fry for what they did to Sean, but also, i think one of the biggest things wrong in America right now is that you can go out and murder someone, and not have to stand trial for 7 years.

Someone who knows more than I do, has the suspects been in jail this whole time? or have they been living free until all of their appeals run out??

How do you put a witness on a stand for something that happened 7 years ago and expect them to remember events clearly? I can't remember what happened 7 days ago.

Why DID it take almost six years just for this to go to trial? The Martin/Zimmerman case only took a year and a half total.

Re: Sean Taylor's Trial Finally Starts

The thread title is stupid. It says it's about Sean Taylor's trial... And Sean Taylor is not on trial. He's dead. It's his alleged murderers who are on trial. Fix the title.

So the shooter, who admitted his guilt, is no saying that he wasn't the shooter... and that he was tricked into his confession. Obviously this guy Rivera is a punk and can't be a man... and admit what he did.

Yeah it's a bitch move but it's gotta be the expected defense. I just hope his statement was detailed enough that the jury won't fall for his "coerced" defense. Hopefully Venjah Hunte will follow through on his deal and snitch on his boys, at least the rest of the them will get what they deserve.
