Valentine One

I have this state of the art radar and laser detection system. For the longest time I have escaped multiple tickets using this device. Today however, I got flashed by one of those safe speed cameras mounted in a soccer mom mini van (40 in a 30). I have also noticed that I am not detecting any of the newer cameras. I have already filled out the form and paid for the upgrade to detect the POPS and Euro systems. I just haven't shipped it off for the upgrade yet.

My question for anyone willing to field it is, will the POPS and Euro upgrade detect against the newer cameras, or did I just waste 100 buck plus shipping for the upgrade?

Good song, now seriously, if anyone could provide some informative feedback (other than slow down) it would be appreciated.

Re: Valentine One

The last time I checked $100 is kind of cheap for a good state of the art laser/radar detector. I bought one in Cali that would basically pick up the lady at Ralph's scanning groceries, im kidding of course but that system i had was around $350.

If your willing to spend 10 bucks on it they have all the results and testing in this...

Re: Valentine One

Chris - I believe the $100 charge is for a flash upgrade. He needs to send the unit back to the manufacturer and they'll reflash it so it can detect new cop technology.

angryssg - my advice is to call the manufacturer and see if they can give you any guidance on the subject.
