Wrong. The waitress didn't make up anything. She simply posted the picture of the receipt from her fellow co-worker on Reddit. She's the one that got fired, not the waitress that got stiffed. As you can see, she didn't make up any story so I have no clue what the hell makes you even say something ridiculous like that.

No, I say it qualified as her telling her co-workers side of the story as she's explained countless of times. I'm quite positive that her co-workers told her what happened and shared the receipt. You act as if she's been trying to take credit, she hasn't. In fact, she purposely misrepresented the patron as to protect her identity.

The waitress didn't lie about this story, and not sure where you gather that. She never posed as the person that got stiffed, she simply shared her co-workers receipt and explained the story. The only person that has lied is the "pastor". No she didn't leave the tip which is exactly why she did what she did. If you honestly believe a person would go out of their way to write what they did on that receipt and STILL leave a tip, then you are the biggest ****ing idiot alive and please allow me to sale you some nice ocean front property in Minnesota. You should read some of the threads from servers on Reddit. The biggest non-tippers according to most of them are blacks and christians so this story comes to no surprise. Nothing else to say at this point.
You know the 2nd biggest hypocrisy in all of this? Applebees claiming that receipts with customer names are considered private, YET they posted this note on the back of a receipt with a customer's name.
