"it's normal way of life"?? It is the most common and, thus, prevalent in advertising, pop culture, literature and other media. Just because something is uncommon, does not mean it isn't "normal".
You and a substantial number of individuals consider it abnormal for any number of a myriad of reasons. Personally, I find nothing abnormal about homosexual relationships.
Further, from basic human physiology, there is nothing abnormal about it. Some folks are vegitarians, some aren't. Each satisfies a particular physiological appetite (hunger) differently. Neither is "abnormal". Most guys satisfy their physiological appetite for sex with women, some with men and some with either.
I also have never been uncomfortable around gay men in the locker room. The concept that guys are checking you out to me has always been a big "so what". I did theater in both college and later in community theater settings. Back in the day (and I assume it is true still), the gay/straight ratio was practically the reverse of the rest of society. It was pretty much the assumption, "oh, your a guy in theater you must be gay." Just like in the straight population - the vast majority of the guys were cool if you made it clear you didn't play on their team. Of course, some were real jerks. It never bothered me as long as they didn't cross the line. Ultimately, however, a douche is a douche is a douche whether they are hitting on men or women.
I get, but shake my head at, people uncomfortable around gays in a locker room.
