3 offseasons is an eternity to fans, but this isn't Madden franchise mode.

So you are blaming talent level for that horrendous showing Sunday? You mean the same talent level that kept Brees high scoring offense in check for most of last week?

The defense was horrible for a few reasons but most of it didn't have anything to do with the talent level. The problem is that the game plan sucked defensively. You can't run a zone defense without getting pressure on the QB. It's simply not going to happen. Even with Carriker and Orakpo out, that DL should have been taking advantage of a Rams OL that was out 3 starters. They didn't, and it allowed Bradford to eat up our secondary. ANY QB in the league would have torched us Sunday with that type of time behind center. Adjustments should have been made a lot sooner, but they weren't it we suffered greatly because of it. There is a reason why Haslett is on the hot seat, and it's not because the talent level.

Mind you, we were down 2 starting safeties as well. As much as I can't stand Vinny, we can no longer blame him for the outcomes of the game. I do however think that he left Mike with a bigger mess than what people realize though.
