Then again, there's no excuse for his 1-8 performance against the Bengals (that was the Bengals game, right?). I remember Ramsey coming in and playing much better that day.
But the point remains, Brunell probably wouldn't be nearly as bad this year as he was last year. That said, I'd still prefer PR of course. But I don't mind having Mark Brunell as my backup QB, not one bit.

Agree with all your points here...but what really concerns me is this. If we release Rod Gardner, then which wide receiver will throw the touchdown passes on our trick plays? If Gardner could do nothing else, it was throw ducks into the end zone
