Which is the big problem with this signing, at least on March 15.
Plenty of time exists to make this look like an attempt at buying low on a guy who might be on his last chance. But without a subsequent move, then a buy low opportunity based on potential "he'll play
if he does what we know he can" becomes foolish "he'll play well
because we picked him up."
So let's table my reaction on this one til we have a complete picture of the plan.
