Sorry but that's just dumb. No coach goes into a season planning to lose as much as possible for the sake of the next draft. As much as we don't like it, Mike and Kyle thought that with an improved defense and his experience in the system Rex would be a competent QB. I doubt they sat down and said, hmm, hopefully Rex will turn the ball over at a rate of twice per game and we suck. No, they hoped his experience would curb his tendency to make stupid plays and be reckless or that Beck would turn whatever teams saw to make him a 2nd round pick into actual production. It didn't happen. Guess what, coaches miss on players ALL THE TIME! The moronic thinking of uninformed and clueless fans about this is damn near as embarrassing as this season has been.
