Tebow's conduct, behavior, etc could be making his teammates more productive. He could be making them more relaxed, more willing to work, stay focused, and giving that extra ounce of effort.
I believe that Tim Tebow is truly a leader, and not just called one because he's a QB. The dude is clearly exercising a huge amount of influence on his teammates, and its showing up in their play.
