Yeah you can't get caught up in the hype. The graphics obviously don't look the same in the trailer vs the demo, and who knows maybe they'll be better in the final product, but personally until I see it in game I have a hard time getting caught up in the hype of a trailer. The in game graphics look to be on the same level as other fps on the PS3, so I'm not too suprised. But it's not as big of a letdown for me because graphics, while part of the game experience, aren't one of the main factors for me in enjoying a game.
If you want bad graphics, go back and play a game on the PS2. I loved playing Hitman Blood Money way back in the day, and a couple months ago I went back and set up the PS2 to play it again, and I was suprised at how bad the graphics were. But that's what happens when you get used to the graphics on the PS3.
