Actually he wasn't drafted by Parcells. He was drafted in the 2007 draft, and Bill Parcells came aboard on Dec 2007. The first draft of Parcells saw Jake Long and Chad Henne drafted with their first couple of picks. It's probably the reason Beck didn't get a fair shake is because he wasn't picked by Parcell's regime.
