Re: Nnamdi Asomugha contract voided should Redskins go after him or do you think the price will be too high.
If people have Really been following the whole Nnamdi thing, you should know:
- The new imposed Salary cap will hurt a team like the cowboys and not effect the redskins. the cowboys can sign Nnamdi if they don't bother resigning doug free and release Terrance Newman, but stephen jones has said that they intend on resigning doug free as their top priority.
-Houston Is in the running, I don't see anywhere where Nnamdi says he doesn't want to play there, They with a good QB and amazing WR and great running back gives them a great championship contending offense, it's just the huge question mark of a defense they have, being that they have money and a CB need, Nnamdi is definitely an option that is very possible.
- The Raiders will not resign him because he hates al davis and his unwinning ways.
- The Jets are a possibility, but only if he signs at a lower rate than what he's asking...not going to happen. Contender wise, it could happen.
- The Eagles want him, but have back up plans (Ike Taylor) if they can't get him/he outprices himself for them.
- The redskins have been named a possibility for a while now. Shanahan loves him from the denver days. We are BIG spenders. NFL writers and analysts have had us linked to Nnamdi for more than financial reasons for the past few months. One CBS.com writer who predicted AH coming here a few years ago is predicting Nnamdi coming here..not saying;just saying.
Meaning of this post: Don't knock out any of these teams from getting Nnamdi (except oakland)
