Well yea, there is a bit of strategy and you understand more of it as you drive induvidual tanks more. (all the tanks behave differently and there are a lot of them)
But mostly its, be smart, keep moving and shoot shoot shoot shoot.
For a change of pace you can power up a self propelled gun (artillery) and camp in a clump of trees and lob shells at the enemy.
