100 is average. This is adjusted for era.
The other thing is, you have the end of the careers of Elway and Marino (declining statistics) built in, and McNabb is theoretically still going to play a couple more years that drag down his career averages. At the end of his career, we could be talking about a guy who played his entire career in a west coast offense, and completed 5% fewer of his passes than the average quarterback. Not to draw conclusions about McNabb's career that can't be drawn from simple completion percentage, but that's pretty unimpressive.
