I don't know him personally, never met him face to face, but I really don't recall any of the other players bad mouthing him either.

I think it's rare that you'll ever find a pro cornerback who doesn't have super-confident borderline-cocky personality. It's almost a requirement for the position given that even good" ones can give up a backbreaker once in a while.
