Apparently though, we've had serious discussions with the Panthers talking about sending Haynesworth, our 2nd, and Fred Davis for Jimmy Clausen! Obviously nothing can happen right now without a CBA but I have really mixed feelings on this. Clausen's fine, but I need to get some draft pick back in return. Even if it's their 3rd round pick.

Interesting to note Snyder really wanted Clausen last year. Gotta wonder if he's not influencing this somehow. He's been pretty upset with Shanahan with how the whole McNabb situation was handled. He might be thinking "I let you get your guy last year, this year we're doing it my way"
