Its got nothing to do with limiting people's rights. Back when Ben Roethlisberger had his 2006 motorcycle accident, Terry Bradshaw told Ben wisely to save that kind of stuff for when he retires. I realize that NFL clubs already limit what players are allowed to do, and the bottom line is going to nightclubs are dangerous and almost always leads to trouble.
You cant tell me that an NFL player going to a nightclub is a good thing. Even if the player is innocent and just there for a good time, there are plenty of things that can and usually do go wrong for the player. It's just not a good thing.
Let's make a compromise. NFL Players can still be allowed to go to clubs, but there should be a rule that if the player is involved in any kind of trouble at all, then the NFL Club should be able to investigate, and suspend or release the player in question if they find that they did something wrong. Too many of these guys are finding themselves in all kind of hairy situations and no trouble follows. Examples: Haynesworth(out getting drunk the night before practice, complete with photos and witness descriptions), Pac Man Jones, Vince Young....those guys i feel got off easy....
They all were repeated offenders before any discipline followed. Especially PacMan Jones. The NFL needs some kind of rule about nightclubs, somehow they can work it out to be fair...
