Re: Is Brett Favre starting a trend for old QB's?

Its ok...i was still a member over at extreme skins when it happened, and we grieved him there because alot of the members knew him. I had known Josh since elementary school, and played in the worship band at our church together before i stopped going/backsliding in 2007. It had me really hating old people as a whole for a long time...but i'm over it now and am only slightly jaded when things like this happen today...i know it sounds like discrimination when i say the laws need to get tougher when you get older, but here in VA we dont really have any kind of testing to see if people are medically/physically sound enough to keep their license...

related info: another horrible example of someone who should have been off the road years ago
George Russell Weller - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Weller was who was behind the "farmer's market massacre" that left numerous people dead and dozens injured. This guy never went to jail because he was "too old"....

That has nothing to do with josh, but i wanted members to be able to see kind of where i am coming from when i say that we need some kind of checking system....

apologies to mods if this is getting it too off topic, i would make a new thread, but i dont want it to be in bad taste or just taking up space on the board, but i wanted people to see where i was coming from
