This is true, but Zorn knew the hype that Colt would bring.. he also knew that Colt would make the team; so that public criticism would help Colt work harder.
If Zorn goes into the media saying yeah Chase needs to work on this and this and he really didn't do this, blah blah; you've got a guy right now at the #4 spot who might get discouraged when he has a chance for #3 if he keeps it up.
