I don't think many coordinators would blitz Campbell at all if they didn't think they could break down our protections in the process. The 6+ man blitzes, designed at getting more rushers than the offense could pick up, were incredibly beatable by Campbell last year. It's the 5 man rushes and 4 man zone blitzes that we failed to pick up and resulted in pressure on the QB.
The protection schemes were lacking, but it's tough to say how much of that is on the QB, how much is on the coaches, and how much is on the line itself.

Very intuitive... I think each situation where the protection breaks down has to do with one, or a combination of of these things. It is subjective to each play in which factor(s), lead to the breakdown of the protection. In the case of the second half of the 08' season I believe JC, protection schemes or play calling (Zorn), and offensive line play, are ALL EQUALLY guilty of sub-par performance.
