In terms of skills the two players are somewhat similar although Eli has certainly had a more talented team. That being said, Eli has clearly underperformed as the number 1 pick. When you consider what the Giants gave up to get him, as well as the 100 million or so they are likely to spend to keep him this year, JC is clearly the better value, for whatever that's worth.

LOL.............yeah BUT he didn't.You can find one thing in every game,if the Pats D holds on to Eli, if the ref blows the whisle,if,if,if Tyree drops the ball...............but if didn't happen.I'll take an"under performing" #1 ...who can take a team as young as the Giants with the changes he keeps having thrown at him...anytime rather then some loser who has good stats and can't win a pressure game to save his life(not JC).
The team must believe in the QB ....the Giants do,do the rest of the Skins believe in JC?
