So you don't think Norv is a good NFL offensive coach? Sorry but I'm going to give Norv credit when credit is due. He may not have been the right coach when he was here cause that was a MAJOR rebuilding job. And no one does good at Oak. But he's been solid at SD. Rivers has turned into a top tier NFL QB and he's taken that offense to another level. He's gotten them to the playoffs two straight years and won playoff games. That's something Marty could not do. The guy got a good year out of Alex Smith for crying out loud. Norv can coach, but as I said he's not the coach for a young team. I bet if you stuck Norv in at NE they wouldn't miss a beat....as long as you had the vets, strong GM and defensive coordinator.
