I'm gonna go out on a limb here and make two presumptions: 1) Rey would/will be an upgrade at OLB over what we currently have on the roster i.e. Blades, Fincher, Wilson, etc. He's far more talented than anyone on our LB corp aside from London, so while OLB may not be the perfect fit...it's shortsighted to pass on the future perennial pro-bowler MLB when we're relatively weak as a unit. 2) I'll argue that in this draft he's probably on par w/ the other OLBs
after Curry playing at the position. His rushing prowess, toughness and sheer physical ability make me think he'll be better at OLB than Cushing, Matthews English...whoever. That's not to say Rey is an OLB...he'll make the pro-bowl as the monster in the middle, but I'm just saying he's easily the 2nd best talent @ LB in this draft behind Curry and will probably have a more stellar career once everything settles out.
