The Redskins had an investment in a player who didn't workout last offseason and happened to get seriously injured. They wanted to protect their investment by assuring that they could do all they could to in order to get Taylor in shape for the season. Taylor said no, VC said buh bye.

And while I'm not surprised that Taylor was unhappy, I think he blew a perfectly good opportunity to make some cash and play on a stellar line that would help inflate his stats. But such is life.
