But here's something I think people are falsely analogizing; please correct me if I'm wrong, but Snyder didn't sign Stubby. The mgmt. of the Skins is different now, and though they've had a history of fa busts, in the last 2 seasons they've shown much greater judgment w/the fa's they've signed.
In addition, Stubby played for Norvelle, AH will be playing for Zorn & Blatche.
btw, I wasn't happy w/the signing, but I'm trying to look at the positives & in response to this thread, D. Stubby isn't the reason I don't like the signing. It's AH's history & the obvious cost & risk involved. I feel the money could've been much better used if we signed several mid level fa's. But now that he's here, I hope he's out there stompin heads for 16 games+ playoffs every year! (figuratively of course  ) |
