Re: Our WRs in 2009... My Thoughts

Again I will admit some were not drafted for a reason but some were from other teams and brought in Patton, Lloyd, I think Dameane Douglas, Dyson. I'll even agree the player has to match the type of scheme your running. Short passes vs deep passes. Gibbs style vs WCO. but I'm still amazed that he could not develope someone. None. He's developed none. Our only keepers have been developed elsewhere. except Thomas and Kelly and as I said we have heard bloggers to news media calling them busts. Whether due to injury or bad knees or simply calling them ignorant cause they can't pick up Zorns plays.

So if we pass on Thomas and Kelly cause the jury is still out....he's developed no one. Toler, Gant, Mann, Mix, Hoag, and Espy. I kinda liked what each brought to the table and felt they could be developed. Maybe some would need more time then others learning the NFL ropes but none. I guess if it's not broken you don't fix it but what if it won't work?

To be honest I'm betting I'm missing someone or two. People I may have forgotten about or couldn't find on a list somewhere.

I know when you are on a course of action and you keep getting the same results you check all outside influences to see what may be causing it, but at some point when the results keep coming up the same I believe you have to look at yourself and what your doing and could it possibly be causing the same results. Is there something you can do to change the outcome of your results. If whatever he's teaching is not working then I would hope he is mature enough to look at himself and figure out another way to coach/develope WR's but after 5 years of not accomplishing much I think the team has to do the same and think about changing him.
