Ok, now that baseball is starting up i was wondering, why not expand the number of teams that make it to october. My ideas:

My favorite- 3 division winners, 2 wildcards play in a series, winner plays top seed in conference.

Another- like the NFL, 2 teams with byes, while other four play it out.

My least favorite but whatever, 8 teams make it, 3 division winners, 5 wildcards.

Thoughts?
