Johnson has played three years predominantly as a slot receiver for the Cardinals, frequently starting the game from the third receiver position. His 35 catches in 2003 was the third most receptions for a rookie (his teammate Anquan Boldin had the most receptions for a rookie that year)[1]. Johnson's career has been hampered by several injuries, but has not appeared in less than 13 games in his three professional seasons.
Johnson scored the inaugural touchdown at University of Phoenix Stadium, a 5-yard reception from Kurt Warner in the Arizona Cardinals preseason game on August 12, 2006.
He signed with the Bills, likely becoming the AFC East team's #2 wide receiver behind Lee Evans. Terms of the contract were not made available by the team.
He is represented by fellow Penn State alumnus Chafie Fields.
