I agree, dmek, Bud Selig may have some major differences with Bonds but the fact is Bonds is a huge part of what is keeping baseball from slipping farther down in popularity.
For me, I wasn't too excited about him hitting it. Due to overall increase, homeruns are not as exciting as they once were. I remember going to baseball games as a kid and teenager
hoping to see a homerun, now I go to games
expecting to see 3 or 4.
